We have been shocked by the news of recent events in Chile and our sympathy goes out to everyone there, especially our fans who we feel we have built such a strong relationship with since our last visit. We are looking forward to our return trip and have been for a long time now and want everyone to know that our thoughts are with them in this very difficult time. We only hope we can return the support that we have felt over the years.
Alex, Paul, Nick, Bob and everyone on the Franz Ferdinand tour.

For some reason there are tickets left for Saturday nights bacchanal at the O2 Academy, Brixton..
NOZE
Gallic romeos play a special set in the foyer, don't know what to expect from this but I have heard STORIES about their live shows, nakedness and general sleaze and debauchery www.myspace.com/nozecircus
MUSIC GO MUSIC
The final night for MGM as our tour support. Tremulous, shimmering psych-disco. it's gonna be emotional. We will probably cry. www.myspace.com/musicgomusic
FRIGHT RECORDS
In the upstairs bar, Jon of the visionary minimal house label Kompakt and his new horror disco label Fright, will be providing eerie soundscapes in the vein of John Carpenter and Sam Raimi whilst illuminated, hopefully from underneath like a torch under the chin telling ghost stories, by a light installation. www.myspace.com/frightrecords
DJ JOE GODDARD (HOT CHIP)
I don't have to tell you about Hot Chip do I? Good. Joe spins in the foyer. By spinning I mean playing records, although I wouldn't rule out him actually revolving either.
ROB DA BANK
The closest thing Radio 1 have to the mighty John Peel and curator of Bestival, Robbie will be playing records before us and MGM. www.myspace.com/robdabank
MATT WAITES
Aka Nightmoves, masterful dj and remixer and he makes an amazing roast pork with crackling. www.myspace.com/mattwaites
Red Tape no.4 is on airs LIVE!! this afternoon at 4 -6PM UK time
For the dummies what don't know, Red Tape is my semi regular radio show, this is the first time I've ever kicked it live though so I guess you can all send me shout outs and the like and I'll read them out on the air. I think that's how it works anyway.
Expect a slew of punk rock and d.i.y. 45s, some of which will doubtless be played at the wrong speed, umming, ahhing and st-st-stammering and sounds from Western Sahara, Benin, Panama, Ghana, Congo and er... Germany.
